Our lead Mazama pocket gopher review consultant, Dr. John Baldridge, holds a Ph.D. in Geography with a specialization in Political Ecology.  He successfully completed the required US Fish & Wildlife Service training in 2019 and is recognized by Thurston County and the federal government as a qualified pocket gopher review consultant.  The results of his surveys are accepted by the county as accurate and authoritative.
